VIDEO: Forward Cities Detroit Convening

In June 2015, Forward Cities held its Detroit convening with business entrepreneurs, social innovators, national organizations, donors and leaders from Cleveland, New Orleans, and Durham, as well as local innovators and thought leaders from Detroit. Over three days, Forward Cities council members visited business incubators and neighborhood businesses, attended panel discussions on pressing topics like blight and developing immigrant entrepreneurs, and listened to dinner talks with Matt Cullen, president and CEO of Rock Ventures, and Maurice Cox, the new director of Detroit's Planning and Development Department.
